Training in critical thinking is hard to find, but it's a competency that employers say is essential to individual and organizational success. Even if you are a skilled critical thinker, this class will give you ideas on how to bring others along. The program received a 5.0 the last time it ran.
This class was rated a 4.83 the last time out. It's another one of the "must haves" that we just couldn't fit into the core Academy. It covers skills essential to management and team effectiveness.
This is a "must have" for all supervisors. It really should be a part of the core academy, but we're already at 72 hours! The class received a 4.96 the last time out.
If you do any kind of speaking in front of groups--informal or formal--this program will enhance your public-speaking effectiveness. The class was rated 5.0 when it ran last season.
You'd be surprised how many activities qualify as a "project" and how even the most simple project can be better managed for greater effect. The most recent offering of this two-day introductory program received a 5.0 on our 5-point scale. Participant comments included: "I gained extensive insight into what all is involved in managing a project," and "Good ideas, good information!"
We hold this his hard-to-find class once a year when the instructor is in town. It was rated a 4.92 last year. Typical participant comments include: "Real world examples made easy!" and "Statistics really can be easy when presented in an easy-to-understand way."
