Mike Ingersoll is principal and owner of a private consulting firm that assists clients with a wide range of human resources services. He specializes in executive coaching, employee relations, compensation, and helping organizations recruit, hire and retain highly qualified employees.
Mike’s practical and engaging style earns him high praise from participants. His sessions are peppered with real world examples, drawn from decades of experience “in the trenches” as a supervisor and manager. Prior to starting his consulting practice, Mike served in a variety of managerial and executive level positions with the City of Phoenix, including Personnel Director. Throughout these assignments, Mike helped supervisors understand their key role in the organization and develop skills to increase their value to themselves, their team, and their organization.
Mike is on the Board of Directors for E3 Africa, a non-profit that provides education for orphaned and impoverished children in Uganda. He has served in several leadership roles, including President, in the Arizona Chapter of the International Public Management Association (IPMA). He is an IPMA Certified Professional and a graduate of the City of Phoenix Management Academy. Mike holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.
