Quinn McDonald, dear colleague, friend, and gifted teacher, was lost to us on March 3, 2021. Our hearts remain heavy. She is greatly missed.

Quinn joined AGTS in 2008 and almost overnight hit the “top of the charts” with her writing skills classes. She and her programming were important to our success and, in the summer of 2020, she came to the rescue by fearlessly jumping into Zoom when it was clear the Pandemic wasn’t going away anytime soon. Revenues from Zoom classes (hers/others) have been critical in keeping us afloat during these difficult Pandemic times.

Here is Quinn’s bio as a reminder of all she brought to the table.

“Quinn McDonald’s expertise and her warm sense of humor make for a truly pleasurable classroom experience. Her approach to writing and grammar helps participants develop the skills necessary for powerful, effective communication on the job. Many participants report a new awareness of and appreciation for the power of words after attending a class with Quinn.

Quinn uses her extensive writing skills coaching knowledge to find the most effective learning approach for each individual. That coupled with her goal of keeping programming simple, engaging and effective makes all the difference to learners.

An award-winning business writer, Quinn has also written three books under her own name as well as countless articles for magazines, blogs, and websites. Her career has taken her all over the world. Currently she trains and consults in the US and Canada.

Quinn holds a M.A. from California State University, Los Angeles.”
